Bring a hint of Fall to your home with this fun and illustrative watercolor painting class! Join us at the Cottage as instructor Laura Cott, from LACOTT FINE ART (@lacottfineart) teaches you all about watercolor artistry. We will highlight fall florals and pumpkins adorned with the iconic courtly check McKenzie Child pattern.
Students will customize their floral and pumpkin color palette in a 5"x7" composition. We will focus on illustrative watercolor techniques, sketching, and compositional planning, and discuss the steps for creating simple fall flowers and stems to adorn our pumpkins. Students will leave with a professional matte package for an 8" x 10" frame.
Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during class.
This class is a great building block for students looking to dive into Watercolor for the first time, with a focus on illustrative watercolor practices.
Class takes place Thursday, October 29th at 6pm at Four Honey Bees Cottage, in our 2nd floor Event Center. Drinks and snacks will be provided, and you will receive 15% off any merchandise purchased that day.
Please note: Seating is limited, and each attendee must purchase a spot in the class. *When you receive an e-mail from us stating your "Order is Ready for Pickup" that is your notification that your seat in the class has been secured. You do not have to pick up anything prior to the class.
