2017 Decorators' Show House

The August Feine House was selected as the site of the 2017 Decorators’ Show House by The Buffalo News and the Junior League of Buffalo. Located on Ellicott Street in the heart of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, the historic home was built in 1888 and later owned by August Feine, a master artisan known for his hand-forged wrought iron work, elements of which remain throughout the home.

Four Honey Bees Cottage was chosen to design the Master Bedroom, with the design centered around a hand-painted Italian four-poster bed that set the tone for the space. Blending French design with American classic elements, the room layers florals, plaids, and leather accents to create a timeless and inviting retreat.
