Watercolor Class 5-7-26 3pm

Bring a hint of Spring to your home with this fun and illustrative watercolor class! Join us at the Cottage as instructor Laura Cott, from LACOTT FINE ART (@lacottfineart) teaches you all about watercolor artistry. We will be highlighting the iconic MacKenzie- Childs Courtly Check Vase in black and white, with simple watercolor tulips.

You'll have the choice between two vase styles to paint in a 5"x7" composition. We will focus on illustrative watercolor practices, sketching, compositional planning, and discuss the steps to creating simple tulips and stems to highlight our vases. You'll leave with a professional matte package for an 8" x 10" frame. All necessary supplies will be provided, and you will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during class.

This class is a great building block for students looking to dive into Watercolor for the first time, with a focus on illustrative watercolor practices.

Class takes place Thursday, May 7 at 3 pm at Four Honey Bees Cottage, in our 2nd floor Event Center. Drinks and snacks will be provided, and you will receive 15% off any merchandise purchased that day.
